Grampy, you were amazing.

You were wise,

You were kind,

You were gentle,

You were sweet.

So when the Good Lord

Called You home today,

Though, I knew that

You were in a better place,

I couldn't stop

The grief that took my hearts place.

So I hope God knows

That he has the best angel,

For no angel can be like you.

You were a good man,

A hard worker,

And you fought till the very end.

I'm glad you're in a better place,

I'm glad the hurting is no more,

But, Grampy, I miss you so.

So, God, take care of Grampy.

He means so much to us.

Thanks for making him

Such a wonderful blessing.

For giving us Grampy.

And that we miss him.
